Your nonprofit organization likely has clients or employees who could benefit from free tax preparation at the Community Tax Centers. Here's how your organization can spread the word:

Send info about Community Tax Centers and tax credits to your clients

• Include with letters and other materials mailed in December through April

• Post information and a link to the Community Tax Centers on your website

• Hand out flyers at events you hold December through April

Display posters and provide fliers in prominent places at the workplace

• Integrate tax assistance outreach into your work with clients

• Put an article about tax credit and free tax preparation in your newsletter

• Ask your case managers to direct clients to Community Tax Centers

Direct clients to Community Tax Centers
• Display maps and information about the closest center to your location

Enlist your employees and volunteers
• Ask them to promote the Community Tax Centers along with their own programs
